About Us
Acania: A Regenerative Organic Farm & Vineyard
Acania is a 93-acre regenerative organic farm and vineyard, operated under rTerra, LLC, dedicated to exploring how soil health, biodiversity, and regenerative practices impact plant resilience, food quality, and ecosystem function.
We are actively building systems, infrastructure, and research initiatives to scale our impact. This is an opportunity to help shape a growing farm with a strong commitment to regenerative agriculture.
What We’re Building
As both a working farm and a hub for regenerative research, Acania integrates:
Regenerative Viticulture & Agriculture
A 10-acre vineyard, with a 6-acre vitiforestry expansion exploring regenerative viticulture.
Heritage orchards, a 2-acre market garden, and a demonstration garden comparing organic vs. regenerative organic systems.
Herbal Medicine & Propagation
A medicinal herb garden and a glass conservatory for propagation, research, and hands-on learning.
Diverse & Functional Landscapes
Ponds, forests, managed pasture, and ornamental gardens, supporting biodiversity and ecosystem function.
Research & Collaboration
Acania partners with farmers, scientists, and educators to study the effects of regenerative farming on:
Soil health and microbial communities
Plant resilience and nutrient density
Ecosystem function and biodiversity
Our research builds on a legacy of plant-based nutrition and soil science, continuing decades of work exploring how regenerative farming enhances food quality and human health.
Private Research & Collaborative Learning
Acania is engaged in research and private collaborations with individuals and organizations focused on regenerative agriculture. At this time, we are not open to the public.
Future Plans
As Acania continues to develop, we look forward to expanding opportunities for education and engagement. Updates will be shared as our work evolves.
Why We’re Hiring
Acania is expanding, and we need skilled, systems-minded professionals to help develop and refine regenerative land management systems. These roles go beyond farm operations—this is about building an impactful, research-driven model for the future of agriculture.
Ideal Candidates Will:
Lead and implement regenerative land management systems
Refine research-driven practices that enhance soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem resilience
Foster a collaborative team culture that values innovation, learning, and long-term impact
Acania’s Commitment to Regenerative Innovation
Our work is grounded in research and practical application. Key areas of focus include:
Studying soil microbiology and its role in nutrient cycling and plant health
Measuring antioxidant levels and nutrient density to assess the effects of biological farming methods on food quality
Exploring no-till, biochar, composting, and adaptive grazing to optimize regenerative land management
We are assembling a team of professionals to help steward this work and develop a resilient, scalable, and impactful model for the future of regenerative agriculture.
